The awarded patent covers a broad range of processes designed to find matches between two or more databases which do not share a common data retrieval key and where one or more of the databases may contain errors or alternate data representations and where methods of querying at least one of the databases is tightly constrained. The technology behind eScan’s newly granted patent builds a virtual searchable database designed to isolate and report every legitimate match while suppressing incorrect matches.
